On Sunday 12th March, Julie's girls competed at the National Grades down in Cardiff.
We are happy to announce that ALL of our girls passed with a commendment!!
Charlotte and Evie started the day in national grade 4. Lottie came 10th overall and Evie 14th. In national grade 2, Alysa came 12th and Ceinwen came 13th overall. Finally, we are very pleased to announce that Bella came 3rd overall in national grade 3 which means she will now represent our region Wales in the British finals....
Olympus are very proud of these girls!!! WELL DONE LADIES
We are currently investigating a possible unit for us to expand our club into.
At the moment it is a basic shell, being in this condition when we take it over would allow us to secure it at a very reasonable rent over a long term basis.
Julie, myself and the other directors have very limited knowledge on how to pursue this,
so are asking for help and advice, or even set up a working party.
If you are/know anyone of the following and are in the situation
as to help/advise us it would be much appreciated; Architect, Builder, Electrician,
Plumber, Project Manager, Roofer,
A swift response would be much appreciated
as we would like to be in a new facility ASAP.
Paul Edwards, Head Coach and Director

Three groups in every Tesco region have been shortlisted to receive the cash award and shoppers are being invited to head along to Tesco stores to vote for who they think should take away the top grant.
Olympus Gymnastics Club is one of the groups on the shortlist
We have till the end of June to get as many BLUE tokens as possible. Please ask at the counter for yours and deposit them into our box :)
Coach Laura has decided after 12 years or so, to put her leotard back on (Or at least find one that might fit her). She will start on the 22nd May a grueling routine of conditioning, flexibility and general gymnastics training to get her fitness levels back ready for competition. As a coach and an ex-gymnast, Laura understands how hard gymnasts work and what they put their bodies through. So to put herself through this again, knowing she is little bit older than the last time she trained as a gymnast, Laura is extremely nervous!!! Therefore, through the support of you guys, we would love it if you could show your support to herself and the club, by sponsoring her. All profit made will be put into the club's fundraising pot, helping us towards getting a new gym. To show her progress/training Laura will make an Instagram Page, so both yourselves and the gymnasts can keep up to date on my progress and on the 6th August, after two months’ worth of training, Laura will compete at The Adult Gymnastics Championships.
If you would like to sponsor Laura, please pop to the tuck shop where you will find a sponsor form :) or, alternatively you can find Laura in the office before and after each class.
